The purpose of Guardian Accord (GA) Workshop is to increase Federal Department and Agencies, State, territorial, tribal and local jurisdictions awareness about the importance of incorporating the specific risks of terrorism into continuity planning.
Course Objectives:
The objectives for this course are focused on improving continuity programs by addressing the unique planning considerations of terrorism. The following objectives support the overall course goal:
- Increase awareness of the sources, methods, and targets of terrorism
- Explore the unique implications of a terrorist event on continuity programs and the ability to continue essential functions
- Provide a forum to identify and correct gaps or vulnerabilities in organizational continuity plans and procedures
Primary Audience
Federal, State, Territorial, Local, and Tribal government employees responsible for managing a Continuity of Operations Program. There is no stipend for non-federal attendees.
